Birthchoice is a pro-life pregnanacy counseling service that offers practical alternatives for women facing a crisis pregnancy. Clients are given full information about their baby's development as well as the physical and emotional effects of abortion. Services include free pregnancy testing, onsite limited sonograms,caring and supportive friends, and referrals to other resources. The Gabriel Project offers support to Birthchoice clients and other agencies by mentoring moms before and after their child is born. They help find housing, furniture, clothing and baby items. The Gabriel Project volunteers provide assistance to negotiate with Social Services, job training, babysitting, transportation, moving and occasional rent deposits. They can also provide spiritual direction and help to make Baptism arrangements.
